Appearance: She's never been one to care about looking girly. Her clothes (or lack there of) make it obvious that she's female, she prefers pants over skirts and she keeps her hair short. She's small and a bit scrawny, but the way she walks and acts portray that she shouldn't be taken too lightly.
Personality: At first glance Faylen is a bit of a tomboy. Due to how she grew up, she learned to put on a tough front in order to avoid conflicts. That's just her outer shell however. Underneath that she likes being treated like she's feminine. She cares a great deal about her friends and has the habit of turning into a mother hen. This is especially true of her crushes (cough roy cough). Though she doesn't let it show when she is emotionally hurt, criticisms affect her greatly. When she is offended or hurt and doesn't want to show it, she will attack passive-aggressively until either she forgets or the other figures out what they did.
Weapons: Hurricane Boomerang
Skills/Special Abilities: Pick pocketing. Acting apprentice/stage hand work.
Other Abilities: One of the few who can tell when it's the Prince and when it's Roy wearing a costume.
Runes: n/a
Weaknesses: Her over-protectiveness of her friends can cause her to be rash and get herself hurt.
History (include any modifications for RPG purposes):
Faylen and her brother, Faylon, never knew their parents. They were born and lived as urchins in Rainwall for much of their life. It was during this time that much of Faylen's outer personality and appearance was created. While Rainwall is a beautiful city for the merchants and nobles, no city is completely safe for urchins. Faylen learned how to fight and kept a masculine face on all of her movements during this time so that she wouldn't be targeted. Though she would never admit it, she also did this so that Faylon wouldn't feel completely responsible for her and get himself hurt because of her.
Faylen's life took a turn for the better when Euram recruited her, her brother and Roy to 'sully the prince's name' in Sable. It was a lot better deal than being in the streets of Rainwall, plus she had a huge crush on Roy, and so was only too willing to join in this plan. Originally she and Roy were to dress up like the Prince and Lyon to ruin the prince's reputation, but Roy laughed at her when she put on the outfit so that part of the plan was scraped. The prince found out about the plan and Sialeeds offered Faylen a full pardon if she agreed to help uncover Euram's plot. When Roy joined the Prince's army Faylen decided to follow along.
Agreeing to join the prince's army was actually the best thing Faylen could have done for herself. Even if at first she was abrasive to many of the people she met, she soon opened up to some and made a great deal of friends. If nothing else she found a sisterhood of people to complain about their big brothers with, and she got to keep a close eye on Roy. She of coursed noticed Roy's actions towards Lyon, but tried to ignore it. She developed a respect for Lyon but that didn't mean it wasn't tainted with a large amount of jealousy.
After the war was over Faylen tracked down Roy in the Northern continent and joined his acting troupe. She did some stage work, but a large amount of her help came from being stage crew during performances (she claims innocence but several of the romantic roles opposite Roy ended up with lights and sandbags accidentally falling on them in rehersal). However one night Roy disappeared during a show. Faylen searched for him all over the northern continent. Along the way she ran into Viki and asked if she knew where he was. As tends to happen around Viki, there was a sneeze and Faylen found herself in Budehuc.
